Single Blood Test
The study aims to assess how gut hormones levels vary in human health and disease.
In this study volunteers have a single blood sample collected.
Participants provide a one week bowel habit diary alongside the visit.
Status: Open to recruitment
To join this research study, you must:
- Be aged between 18 and 75 years
- Healthy volunteer
- Participants with gastrointestinal conditions and/or gastrointestinal symptoms
- Participants who have been previously or have currently been referred for a SeHCAT scan
- Participants started on medications with may cause gastrointestinal symptoms.
Location: Cambridge Clinical Research Centre on Keith Day Road, next to the Addenbrooke’s Treatment Centre, and part of the Cambridge Biomedical Centre.
